Bollywood actor Kalki Koechlin is back in the spotlight, but this time it’s because of a major real estate transaction rather than a film project. The actress has sold her apartment in Andheri West, Mumbai, drawing attention from both the entertainment industry and property market watchers.
The apartment is located in Varsova Kiran Co-operative Housing Society and has a carpet area of approximately 1,230 sq ft. Andheri West is considered one of Mumbai’s most desirable residential locations, thanks to its excellent connectivity, premium lifestyle, and proximity to the film and television industry. Property values in the area have shown steady appreciation over the years, making it a preferred choice for investors.
Interestingly, Kalki purchased the apartment nearly a decade ago and held on to it as Mumbai’s real estate market continued to evolve. The latest transaction has sparked discussions about the returns generated by long-term property investments in the city.
The highlight of the deal is that Kalki Koechlin sold the Andheri West apartment for ₹2.55 crore. She had originally purchased the property in December 2015 for ₹1.95 crore, earning an estimated ₹60 lakh profit from the sale. The transaction also reflects the steady growth in property prices across Mumbai’s premium residential markets, especially in Andheri West.
